Factiva – more search options

New FAQ answer on Factiva field codes (a useful search option).

What are the Factiva field codes?

You can use Factiva field codes to construct searches that combine several different items. For example:

BY=”martin dickson” and HD=green and WC>200
will give all articles authored by Martin Dickson with the word “green” in the headline and length over 200 words.

strateg* and wc>500 and (atleast10 apple) and SC=FTFT
will give articles from the Financial Times (SC=FTFT) with over 500 words, including strategy/strategies/strategic (strateg*) and “apple” at least 10 times – articles likely to be about Apple company strategy.
